Coming as someone who’s been left out of the worldview presented by every single teacher I’ve ever had, I have to say that I find this reaction to be quite illogical. My reaction has always been “well, how the fuck did this person get to be a teacher if they don’t know anything about the world?” It’s incredibly bizarre to internalize something like that. You know you exist. So make everyone else know you exist too. Reveal the stupidity of the teacher in front of everyone. One would think that would be the only acceptable reaction. And DAMN I wish we could reply to quotes like we can to everything else.
